Biography:
Hani Aldallah Ali, born in Baghdad in 1969, is an Iraqi artist who began his artistic education at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, graduating in 1990. He held his first solo exhibition in 1988 at the Institute and became a regular participant in Iraq's National Exhibitions at the Art Center, contributing annually from 1992 to 2003. Ali has also showcased his work in international venues, such as the Zarqa Youth Exhibition in Jordan and the Sharjah Biennale in the UAE, making a notable impact on the regional art scene until today.

Artist Statement:
“The filled emptiness is better than the empty fullness. Emptiness is a rest, and space does not mean a lack of detail or signify silence. Sometimes, we understand the subject without a lengthy explanation, as a hint is sometimes better than excess.”
