Lot Details

Viveek Sharma was born in 1968 in Mumbai, India. He lives and works in Mumbai, India, and Zurich, Switzerland. Viveek Sharma is regarded as the painter of metaphors. He is one of India’s most renowned artists and is represented internationally. After graduating from the renowned J.J. School of Arts in Mumbai, Sharma initially concentrated on drawing. He discovers many of his motifs in his home city of Mumbai or on his numerous trips abroad. These three paintings here in the auction belong to his latest series “Travel Sketches”, which are created directly at the place where the artist is currently traveling.

His works can be found in important public and private international collections.
